about this event
Bronx Tech Hub Presents: The Inaugural Bronx AI Week powered by JP Morgan Chase. We're closing Bronx AI Week by building.
The Bronx AI Build-a-thon brings together entrepreneurs, technologists, creatives, students, professionals, and community problem-solvers to collaborate and build AI-powered solutions addressing real-world challenges. You do not need to be a programmer to participate.
Participants will form teams, identify a problem, develop an AI-powered solution or prototype, receive support and mentorship, and present their ideas.
Date: Friday, October 16, 2026. Time: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM. Location: Bronx, NY — location details provided upon registration. Age Requirement: 21+.
What to Expect: Form or join a team; identify a real-world problem; build an AI-powered solution or prototype; collaborate with people from different backgrounds; receive guidance from mentors; pitch your solution; compete for recognition and prizes.
Developers are welcome, but so are designers, entrepreneurs, product managers, marketers, community leaders, subject-matter experts, and people who simply have a great idea. Bring your laptop, your ideas, and your creativity.
