You have 8 hours to reimagine how the built world gets planned. Join Blueprints AI during SF Tech Week for a weekend hackathon at the intersection of AI and pre-construction.

The construction industry spends billions of hours each year on manual drafting, code review, and permitting — and we think the best ideas for fixing that haven't been built yet. Dell and NVIDIA are joining us as key sponsors. You can expect high-performance hardware and world-class infrastructure to power your builds.

Whether you're an engineer, designer, builder, or just obsessed with what AI can do, come build something that tackles a real problem in how we plan, document, and approve construction projects.

What to expect:

Saturday - 9:00 AM — Doors open, breakfast & check-in - 10:00 AM — Kickoff: problem statements, team formation & API access - 12:30 PM — Lunch - 6:30 PM — Dinner & progress check-ins

Sunday - 12:00 PM — Lunch - 2:00 PM — Final submissions - 3:00 PM — Demo presentations & judging - 4:30 PM — Winners announced, prizes & closing - 5:00 PM — Wrap

Challenge tracks might include: → AI-powered code compliance and zoning checks → Sketch-to-blueprint generation → Automated material takeoffs from construction drawings → Permit review acceleration → Site feasibility analysis from unstructured inputs

Food, drinks, Wi-Fi, and good energy provided. Bring your laptop and ideas. Open to engineers, architects, designers, PMs, and anyone building at the frontier of AEC and AI. Solo hackers and pre-formed teams welcome.
