The Alpaca × Conviction Trading Hackathon brings together students, traders, builders, and fintech enthusiasts to turn market ideas into working trading strategies.
Come with a thesis. Leave with something you can actually test.
Using Conviction, participants will create and backtest a trading strategy based on an idea, signal, market event, technical indicator, social signal, or other investment thesis. You'll have access to tools designed to make strategy creation and testing dramatically easier, without needing to build an entire trading stack from scratch.
The top projects will compete for $2,000 in prizes, and standout participants may also be considered for engineering opportunities with the teams behind the event.
