about this event
What's happening? Bilt.me is teaming up with The AI Collective and Veris.ai to host Mobile App Hackathon Night in New York: an evening for getting a real mobile app out of your head and onto your phone, with AI. A friendly hackathon where the only rule is to ship something by the end of the night. Most app ideas never leave the Notes app. Tonight yours does.
No code needed. Bring a fresh idea or something you've already started. Describe what you want in plain language, keep refining it, and leave with an app running on your phone that you can show people. All you need is a laptop and the willingness to call something done. You'll be hacking alongside founders, designers, coders and people with too many ideas in their Notes app. Come solo or bring a friend, and we'll help you find teammates.
Why come? Build your app with Bilt.me and meet the people building with AI in New York. 🍕 Pizza on us.
Format: Teams of one or two. A quick kickoff, then three hours of heads-down hacking with a clear finish line: get it working on your phone. We wrap with demos, so everyone sees what got shipped.
What to expect: A short intro to building with Bilt.me; time to hack, test on your phone and ask questions; friendly feedback from the room; demos at the end; good conversations and new people to build with.
Who is it for? Anyone who wants to stop thinking about an app and start shipping one: aspiring founders, designers, creatives, AI-curious builders, and people who have never written code.
What to bring? A laptop 💻, your phone 📱, and an idea — or the app you've already started.
Co-hosted with The AI Collective. The AI Collective is a global non-profit building the human layer for the AI era. We unite 200,000+ leaders, builders, and stakeholders across 100+ forums worldwide to democratize the frontier, build trust, and coordinate how society navigates the rapid acceleration of technological progress. Our partner Veris.ai is supporting the night as a partner. Veris AI builds simulated environments where companies train and test AI agents before putting them into real use. Think of it as a practice arena that lets enterprise AI agents make mistakes safely before they touch real customers or systems. Seats are limited and we read every application.
