Join Utah’s developer community for two days of hands-on learning and building with Codex, co-hosted by Kevin Guaman and Isaac Cochran, your local Codex Ambassadors, in collaboration with Just Build.

This unofficial, community-led DevDay Exchange event brings technical builders, developers, students, and founders together to explore tools and announcements from OpenAI’s DevDay and put them to work in an open-theme hackathon.

Bring your laptop and an idea. Meet collaborators, build a working project, and share what you made at the final demos.

Schedule · October 23–24 · Mountain Time Friday, 4–6 p.m.: Hands-on learning Friday, 6–6:30 p.m.: Rules and kickoff Friday, 6:30 p.m.–Saturday, 3 p.m.: Build time Saturday, 3–5 p.m.: Demos, judging, and awards; finished by 5 p.m.

Overnight arrangements are still being finalized; on-site overnight access is not yet confirmed.

Eligible checked-in attendees can receive $100 in Codex credits and $50 in OpenAI API credits.

Prizes: Each approved member of the top three winning teams can receive one full year of ChatGPT Pro at the $100/month tier, subject to OpenAI event and prize approval.
