about this event
#HACK Columbus 2026, presented by Christians in Tech and held at Leading EDJE in Dublin, OH, on Saturday, October 24, from 8 AM to 8 PM.
A free one-day hackathon in Columbus. Learn from local nonprofits, pick a challenge, and build a project. No experience or team needed.
#HACK is Indigitous's annual global hackathon, bringing together technologists, entrepreneurs, creatives, and anyone who wants to use their skills to serve. Since 2016, it has gathered thousands of participants in more than 70 cities across 40+ countries. Christians in Tech (CIT) is partnering with Indigitous to bring it back to Columbus for a second year.
Whether you're a coder, designer, marketer, nonprofit leader, project manager, or just curious how technology can make a difference, you're welcome here. Come ready to connect, dream, and build.
Challenge categories: Homelessness; Refugees & Immigrants; Global Missions; Family Online Safety; Disability Inclusion.
How it works: Morning speakers walk through the real problems behind each category. By lunch, pick one and work solo or in a team of up to five. Build a presentation, and a demo if you can, then share it that evening.
Join the CIT Discord, where updates will be shared and coordination happens before and during the event: https://discord.com/invite/s9bQZBVduF
