One day hackathon! Attention Minnesota technologists! Are you passionate about innovation? Curious about a career in tech, or already part of the industry? Looking to spend a weekend learning, networking, and building? This event is for you!
Join us for our 2026 one day hackathon on October 17th, with Demo Day that same afternoon from 2pm - 4pm at Improving in Minneapolis! We'll gather in uptown Minneapolis at Improving's office (with plenty of free parking!) for a day filled with creativity and collaboration. Meet fellow tech enthusiasts, connect with potential employers, and put your skills on display!
Prizes for Top Teams: Win cash prizes! $1,500+ in cash for top teams. Tickets are free with paid tickets to help support the events. Paid ticket holders get branded items.
Event Schedule — Kickoff + Working Session, Saturday, October 17th: 8:30 AM: Doors open. Coffee, pastries, and fruit will be available. 9:00 AM: Enjoy breakfast, connect with others, and form teams. Most participants will find teammates now, though pre-formed groups are also welcome! 9:45 AM: Begin work on projects! 12:00 PM: Lunch provided. 1:30 PM: Get ready for demos. 2:00 PM: Demos begin. 3:30 PM: Prize announcements and wrap-up.
Additional Information — Code of Conduct: Before you arrive, it's required that you review the code of conduct. One of the most important aspects of this event is creating a safe space. Food: We'll provide breakfast and lunch so you can stay focused on your project, along with snacks available throughout the event. Demo Day: If you'd like to come to see the Demos only, get your tickets here!
Getting Here — Parking: Limited validated parking is available at Victory Parking Ramp, half a block away, on a first-come, first-served basis.
