Bases del Hackathon de Desarrollo Sustentable
1. Objetivo General: Develop an agentic solution aligned with one of the UN's 16 Sustainable Development Goals.
2. Duración: The hackathon will last seven weeks, from October 7 to November 24.
3. Participantes: The hackathon is open to all participants in the software design class. Participants may form teams of up to 3 members.
4. Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible: Participants may choose one of the following goals to align their solution with: 1. No poverty; 2. Zero hunger; 3. Good health and well-being; 4. Quality education; 5. Gender equality; 6. Clean water and sanitation; 7. Affordable and clean energy; 8. Decent work and economic growth; 9. Industry, innovation and infrastructure; 10. Reduced inequalities; 11. Sustainable cities and communities; 12. Responsible consumption and production; 13. Climate action; 14. Life below water; 15. Life on land; 16. Peace, justice and strong institutions.
5. Entregables: Teams must submit the following deliverables: 1. Vision and Scope Document: a clear description of the vision and scope of the agentic solution. 2. UML Design Diagrams: Use Case Diagram, Component Diagram, Class Diagram, Sequence Diagram. 3. Working Application: code published in a GitHub repository. 4. Demo Video: a video showing all the use cases of the agentic application.
6. Criterios de Evaluación: Judges will evaluate the projects based on the following criteria: 1. Alignment with the SDGs: to what extent is the agentic solution aligned with the chosen Sustainable Development Goal? 2. Innovation: how innovative and creative is the agentic solution? 3. Feasibility: is the agentic solution viable from a technical and economic point of view? 4. Impact: what is the potential impact of the agentic solution on society and the environment? 5. Presentation: is the presentation of the deliverables clear and convincing?
7. Premios: The following prizes will be awarded to the best project: an Echo device and two Fire TV Sticks. 1. Third Place: a Fire TV Stick.
