Houston Code Jam is a free, family-focused afternoon of hands-on computer science at Rice University! Houston Code Jam brings students and families together to explore coding, technology, and problem-solving through fun, interactive activities.
Participants will rotate through 10 engaging stations featuring activities with Scratch, micro:bit, MakeCode Arcade, Python, digital citizenship, and more. No prior coding experience is required, and some activities can be completed without a computer.
Join us on Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 12-3 p.m. at Rice University. Admission is free for families. Come discover how creative, collaborative, and fun computer science can be! Bring your curiosity and get ready to code, create, and explore together.
