Jam Week Start: Sunday October 25 Kickoff ZOOM Online & Discord. October 26 – October 29 - Online Discord.

Showcase: Friday, October 30, 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, at Tech Hub Orlando. Ticketed item — each team gets 5 minutes to present and 5 minutes of Q&A with three surprise guest judges.

Attire: Wear your favorite All Hallows costume.

Pick Your Track

Not So Scary (Family Friendly & more freedom in the build): The Monster Who's Afraid of Kids: Build a game where you help a nervous little monster get through trick-or-treating. Costume Chaos: Build a game where mixing and matching costume pieces changes your powers. Lights Out, Friends In: Build a game where the dark is a puzzle to solve together, not something to fear.

The Horrors of AI: The Helpful Assistant - Make a game where the AI that's meant to help or protect the player slowly becomes a threat. A friendly AI assistant of some sort learns from the player - and that becomes the horror. The more it helps you, predicts you, or imitates you, the more dangerous it gets. Can the player outsmart something that knows them better than they know themselves? Its "help" should feel unsettling well before it turns. Do you trust it, do you have any choice if you do? Bad training data - AI trained on something it should never have seen, like unauthorized or unexpected data or a dead person's messages, voice, texts, and videos. It starts saying things they never said. It remembers everything about you, and maybe even what you didn't even tell it specifically. AI in the wrong hands - Create a horror game where an AI was trained by a small misguided group and embodied to follow one of the Seven Deadly Sins as its core directive - Pride, Greed, Envy, Lust, Gluttony, Wrath, or Sloth - and has taken it to a terrifying extreme. The AI believes it is helping. The player must escape, resist, or shut it down before its sin consumes them.

BENEFITS: Remote during the week. Build with your team in real time — 5 days. SWAG - T-shirt (choose Family Friendly or All Hallows) tees, stickers, stickers, and more stickers, plus a surprise gift. Press Release with your name & team name for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners. We will eat together. Showcase your game in November and December monthly meetup.
