NC State University's Collegiate Game Jam 2026 Showcase
about this event
NC State University's Collegiate Game Jam 2026 Showcase is the final showcase event of an intensive 72-hour game design hackathon held at the James B. Hunt Jr. Library. Interdisciplinary student teams spend four days building original video games from scratch using engines like Unity, Unreal, and Godot with real-time guidance from industry mentors.
At the showcase, teams deliver live pitch presentations, host interactive playtesting stations, and compete for cash prizes across categories like Mechanics, Narrative, Art, and Sound. The event serves as a hands-on production experience, helping students create portfolio-ready projects and connect directly with local game industry recruiters.
Come on in and encourage these student teams from State! The event is open to all ages and is held in person.
