NYC Frontier Hackathon: Build your Autonomous Code Factory

In this 10+ hour intensive AI Hackathon led by the research team at Obvious, you will build your autonomous software factory. TLDR: you'll be able to start assigning your agents features to build instead of prompts.
Note: This event is entirely free, including unlimited tokens for the AI Hackathon. Building and tokens will be using an obvious.ai workspace. We will be awarding over $30K in token prizes to the teams that can build the most in a day! 1st place receives $20,000 worth of Obvious Fusion credits, 2nd place receives $10,000 worth of Obvious Fusion credits, and 3rd place receives $5,000 worth of Obvious Fusion credits.
Come alone or come as a team. If you want to valuemaxx this event (and set yourself up to win big) the ideal group to bring is: a technical founder or engineering leader, a product manager (if you have one), and 1+ engineers (the more ai-pilled the better).
What to bring: Your laptop; access to a real Github repo you care about [or] a clear vision for a greenfield project; a bug backlog or a list of small improvements. We'll set up your Obvious workspace and go through onboarding in-person. Meals and drinks are provided.
Agenda: 10:00 AM – Doors Open; 10:30 AM – Opening Session; 10:45 AM – Building Begins; 1:00 PM – Lunch, with Lightning Talks; 3:30 PM – Optional Q&A with Obvious; 4:30 PM – Closing Panel; 5:00 PM – Awards, Demos & Happy Hour.
What you'll be learning — how to: design the complete hands-off build loop; manage a multi-pr autonomous agent swarm; prepare more ambitious builds (entire features or even products); manage QA, code review, and human feedback without slowing down the work; decide where to spend time vs go hands off; rethink both devops and organizational roles in a world of autonomy; scale autonomous software delivery safely; think about roadmap and software design when you can build anything practical in a day.
