System Public Challenge

about this event

System is a Public Benefit Corporation building knowledge infrastructure to help solve complex challenges in the world. Its first open-science offering, the System Public Graph [BETA], is a living and open map of scientific knowledge, containing millions of quantitative relationships drawn from peer-reviewed research across disciplines, and updated regularly with new findings.

System is now hosting its first public hackathon, the System Public Challenge, in November at its headquarters in NYC. The goal is to foster compelling applications of the Public Graph to real problems affecting science and society — and to take the first step in cultivating a global community of systems thinkers working across the boundaries between disciplines.
