about this event

The Executable World is a one-day, in-person Full-Stack AI Hackathon, Demo Day, and Networking Mixer taking place on September 19, 2026. Prize Pool: $270,000 (Credit+Cash). All official building, project submission, judging, demonstrations, awards, and networking will take place in person during the event.

The hackathon challenges, co-host and sponsor resources, judging criteria, and team-formation information will be released online one day before the event, giving participants time to understand the challenges, form teams, and prepare their development environments.

The event is co-hosted and supported by VeloDB, AgentX, Memories.ai, and AWS. Each co-host and sponsor will contribute technology, technical resources, product guidance, workshops, mentors, judging support, or challenge opportunities for participating teams.

Hackathon tracks, challenge statements, and technical resources will be released one day before the event. Registered participants will be able to: review the hackathon tracks and challenge statements; explore co-host and sponsor technologies; access technical documentation and resources; create participant profiles; post or explore project ideas; find potential teammates; select a track; define an initial product direction; and prepare their development environments. Participants may discuss ideas, form teams, and prepare their technical setup in advance. However, all teams must attend and complete the official build sprint in person on September 19 to be eligible for judging and awards.

Suggested team size is 2–5 participants per team. Cross-functional teams combining engineering, product, design, AI infrastructure, and enterprise domain expertise are encouraged.

September 19 — Full-Day Program

8:30–9:00 AM | Doors Open: The venue opens for organizers, co-hosts, sponsors, mentors, and early-arriving participants.

9:00–10:00 AM | Participant Check-In & Final Team Formation: Participants check in, meet other builders, confirm their teams, review the challenges, and prepare their development environments. Final team matching will be available for participants who arrive without a complete team.

10:00–10:15 AM | Opening Remarks: Welcome from the organizers and an introduction to The Executable World. The opening will cover hackathon tracks, challenge statements, judging criteria, submission requirements, the event schedule, and co-host and sponsor resources.

10:15–11:15 AM | Co-host & Sponsor Workshops: Technology leaders from VeloDB, AgentX, Memories.ai, and AWS will deliver short, practical sessions introducing their platforms, tools, APIs, technical resources, and suggested hackathon use cases. Each company will have approximately 10–15 minutes to introduce its technology, present relevant APIs, platforms, or infrastructure, explain available technical resources, share example use cases, and help teams understand how its technology can be incorporated into a project.

11:15 AM–3:45 PM | In-Person Build Sprint: Teams design, build, test, and prepare working AI products across the hackathon tracks. Support may include co-host and sponsor technical assistance, mentor office hours, enterprise use-case feedback, product and pitch guidance, submission support, and demo preparation. Lunch and light refreshments will be available during the build sprint so teams can continue working.

3:45–4:00 PM | Final Submission: All teams submit their completed projects through the official hackathon platform. Each submission may include project name and description, team information, selected track, product screenshots or demo video, technology stack, co-host or sponsor tools used, repository or product link, and presentation materials. In-person and remote judges will review and score the submitted projects through the platform.

4:00–5:00 PM | Judges Panel — Building the Executable AI Stack: While judges review the submissions, technology leaders from ServiceNow and TikTok will discuss how different layers of the AI stack come together to create systems capable of executing real-world tasks. Discussion topics may include real-time data infrastructure for AI applications; building and deploying production-ready AI agents; visual memory and multimodal intelligence; cloud infrastructure for scalable AI systems; reliability, security, and observability; moving AI products from prototype to production; what founders need to build defensible AI companies; and how infrastructure companies can support the next generation of AI builders. The panel will be followed by a short audience Q&A.

5:00–5:45 PM | Final Demos & Awards: Selected teams will present their products on the main stage. The final demo format will be determined by the number of completed submissions. If there are 10 or fewer teams, each team may receive approximately three minutes to demonstrate its project. If there are more than 10 teams, judges will select a group of finalists to present on the main stage. Winning teams may be announced one at a time, followed by a short product demonstration and award presentation from each selected team. The program may include finalist product demonstrations, brief judge feedback, audience voting, co-host and sponsor awards, and overall hackathon awards.

5:45–6:00 PM | Closing Remarks: Final acknowledgements, co-host and sponsor recognition, community announcements, and next-step opportunities for participating teams.

6:00–7:00 PM | Networking Mixer: Builders, founders, enterprise leaders, co-hosts, sponsors, mentors, and investors connect around product pilots, customer opportunities, technology partnerships, developer adoption, recruiting, investment, and future hackathons and ecosystem programs.
