about this event
Build an AI agent that does real work at the Vultr Hybrid Hackathon. Join the Vultr: Agent Rush Hackathon, a global hybrid hackathon powered by Vultr and lablab.ai. Build real-world AI agents, run code in secure cloud sandboxes, and compete for prizes while connecting with AI builders from around the world.
🌎 Hybrid hackathon 💻 Online build: 3–8 November 2026 📍 On-site phase: 8 November 2026 — exact time to be confirmed.
🏆 Prizes & Perks: $200 in free Vultr credits for every participant to build their project. $9,000 in cash prizes + $5,000 in credits up for grabs. An opportunity for selected participants to showcase their projects live during the on-site experience.
💻 The Challenge: Build a web-based agent that writes and runs code or operates a real browser, with every action contained inside a sandbox running on Vultr. Your application should plan tasks, dispatch them to isolated execution environments, and return verifiable results. Show us multi-step workflows and real execution in a production-style web application, all powered by Vultr infrastructure. Containment comes first: build an agent that executes safely.
📍 On-site Showcase: Participants approved for the on-site experience will have the opportunity to showcase their projects live on 8 November. Travel and accommodation are not covered.
